Naaa. My Grammar needs corrected. We met last month for the first time, and this month is the second time; or the first monthly gathering. Wish we could meet twice a month. It'd be fun.
An open house sounds like a lot of fun, especially if you let your typewriters out for a test type. I don't recall how far out of D.C. you are located, but there are a lot of neat places for typing in D.C. Meridian Hill park is one of my favorite places for relaxing and writing. Never typed there though. The Mall is neat, but the Park Service may give typists the boot (at least during normal tourist times).
I miss my typewriter after seeing this post! I had a real beauty given to me by a family friend, and sad to say I can't locate it. I fear it is long gone.
Wowser, two a month? You guys are really cookin' (:

DeleteDoes sound a lot of fun Bill, and something to look forward to each month. Nice of Kazoo to host the event ✨
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun, you guys got a lot of momentum up there!!
ReplyDeleteWish you were closer!
ReplyDeleteA monthly meeting sounds great. I am considering hosting an open house for local typewriter enthusiasts - there are a lot in the DC area.
