Happy New Year!

Speak about starting a year off right. I am still being sloppy with my typecasts.
I noticed typos after posting again.  I need to add typing proficiency to my goals; 100% accuracy. The Tippa was also my 2015 gift.  I would not mind 2 of them, but I only have one.

  1. Happy New Year to you. Those are worthy goals, especially getting platens recovered. As for typos, I think they are essential to the typewriter experience, for they serve to remind us that these are not computers, but mechanical devices operated by fallible humans.

  4. Hi Bill, I'm a little late myself with the new year wishes ☺ I like your positive attitude very much, I'm a big believer myself in getting on with things, although some things are harder than others to accept ☺ As far as the blog goes, I think when inspiration hits, that's the time to post! Anyway before I forget ☺ here's wishing yourself and family all health and happiness for 2017 from sunny (41C) Perth.

  5. That is the best new year letter I have seen. Straight from the heart.
And I love the 1954 Gossen Tippa. (the year I was born)

    1. Thank you Haddock.
I really like the Tippa. I find the action of the flat typewriter a bit stiffer, although not uncomfortable, than a regular portable and especially an office size typewriter.I have a newer (Adler) one that is not as nice to use.

  9. Stop in from Perth Daily Photo. Every year has it high and low. But majority of us putter nicely though life.
If you fine the time stop in for a cup of coffee.
