Adler J4 from 1966 |
After ignoring my project for most of a month I finally finished it a few minutes ago and thought I would give a preview. I took this one right before I installed the final button. Now since I must work for a living ..... details of the project and a tour of a nice typer later since I must leave for work :(
That's a fancy pants machine! The the shape of gape on the top and the texturing of the branding panel are almost Olivettiesque.
ReplyDeleteAha! My old friend the Gabriele (as it is known in Europe). This looks nice and clean. I look forward to reading more details about it.
ReplyDeleteA looker, for sure. Glad there's progress in this project.
ReplyDelete@Rob, I was thinking the same thing... it's channelling Olivetti Studio 44 (darn, I can't stop talking about my favorite typewriter!)
I've a Gabriele that looks almost identical to this :) They're wonderful machines. I'm looking forward to read more about it!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice, clean typewriter.
ReplyDeleteLooks brand-new!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing some typed samples.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I look forward to hearing more about it!
