How interesting. I just cranked out an ITAM entry on my Rem16. It felt like coming home to an old friend. I never tried the melody strings.
Yes, for the limited amount of time I have and my limited selection of songs I can play since some of the strings need replaced. I have them. I have not had the time to replace them.

I may take you up on the recordings when I replace the stringsBill Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14649212489891769390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8558523755501505700.post-80402693225030233682013-02-03T21:53:38.954-05:002013-02-03T21:53:38.954-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Bill Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14649212489891769390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8558523755501505700.post-64404410157029047712013-02-03T21:28:31.490-05:002013-02-03T21:28:31.490-05:00This is the first time that I have seen ANYBODY re...This is the first time that I have seen ANYBODY refer to a ukelin! Are you having fun with it?

I've got one here at home, and pluck on it from time to time. I don't use the bow; the hair is shot, so I pluck at the strings in my own way. Getting pretty good at playing scales on the strings towards the top. Left C, right D, etc. Tuned the guitar-sounding chords on the bottom. Cool! Let's swap ukelin recordings!Cameronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11633967390492270136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8558523755501505700.post-88432308663752152502013-02-03T10:14:18.357-05:002013-02-03T10:14:18.357-05:00ITAM? I think they are unique to the U.S. They are no longer made and somewhat of a novelty. Sound fine if tuned correctly. Some need a modification to the sound board to make them sound good. I plan a post a bit later. I need to replace some strings on mine.Bill Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14649212489891769390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8558523755501505700.post-66395176121608217072013-02-02T18:57:14.097-05:002013-02-02T18:57:14.097-05:00My first time hearing of a ukelin! My first time hearing of a ukelin!Richard Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16232053429935587826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8558523755501505700.post-36414820001957852922013-02-02T16:56:38.463-05:002013-02-02T16:56:38.463-05:00They were good old things! They were good old things!David C Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08891468618584742601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8558523755501505700.post-66638806979050797672013-02-02T16:06:56.966-05:002013-02-02T16:06:56.966-05:00Very nice typeface on that Royal Signet.
