Zebra V-301 Fountain Pen Revisited

Well, I'm still making typos and for this post I did not edit the images to display full size on the blog so they can display in a larger size in the slide show.  Not really sure which I like best.

  1. It even has a minimalist-spacy design. :)

  2. The post layout is working well. I was a big fan of Zebra Gel pens until my supplier dried up. Could be a good time to get back into knibs. I heard good things of the Lamy Safari. Wonder if they do a southpaw knib?

  3. Good question Rob. I would like to get a Safari pen also. I would think they make left and right handed pens, and you hit on a good point. I have a Waterman that was my mother's pen and I have a bit of a time with it. It is an old well used pen in good shape except we write with opposite hands! I need to re ink it and use my left hand.

  4. I checked and they do l/h Safari in a choice of colours. Maybe a suggestion for my birthday, with some black cartridges. My first fountain pen was a l/h nib Osmiroid which was a present from my dad. I must have been ten or so. It had rubber bladder and leaked, probably from my ineptness. And now I have to go and hunt down the origins of why I always thought nib should start with a k!
